Whitebeard was supposed to be the strongest man. Him not being able to kill at least one of the navy's major players is not very believable

Even being backstabbed by an ally straight from the start, he still 1shot a vice-admiral, beat thousands and thousands of marine soldiers, fended off Aokiji and Kizaru, and defeated Akainu in an unfair 1v1 where he was already incredibly injured while Akainu had almost no wounds or fatigue at all. It wasn't even a contest, he was parrying all of Akainu's attacks with only 1 hand and blasted him into oblivion.

Then he also beat Blackbeard in a 1v1, so much so that he had to call in his entire crew to help him.

And then STILL he did not die. He was still calmly talking and smiling about Roger's will, about the future, and then reignited the Pirate Era by proclaiming the One Piece is real. And then, he died on his own terms, while standing up.

Anybody at that war, especially Akainu, knew that Whitebeard was by far the strongest man in the entire world. Whether Whitebeard actually killed anyone is imo irrelevant. It actually makes him cooler imo, he doesn't need to kill anyone because he puts the fear of death into anyone that faces him.

He is not in his prime now. As you can see he is already pretty old and ill as well. That's why he can't use his haki like before. Meanwhile the 3 admirals are in their prime now, don't underestimate them. They are yonko level. Plus, there was garp & sengoku who were said to be the rivals of roger and whitebeards during their prime. And then there are vice admirals, vice admirals are as strong as yonko #3 #4 commanders. It's not easy to challenge with an all-out navy clan even if it's a yonko. Atleast 2 yonko crew needs here.
